Julian Davies apointed COO for Standard Bank Offshore
If you?re a keen Gallery reader with an eye for detail you may recognise Julian. We made a bit of an error last month and his picture crept in where Marcus Nobes (Senior Branch Manager of RBS?s Royal Bank House in Bath Street, below) should have been. Sorry for the mix up! Julian has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer at Standard Bank Offshore. Julian, who has been with the bank for over seven years, will be responsible for infrastructure issues within Standard Bank Offshore including all finance, operations, IT and human resource functions. Julian has been with the Standard Bank Group for seven years, initially based in London in finance and finance-related positions, but more recently as Chief Operating Officer for the Group?s operations in Istanbul. Outside the office, Julian is keen on most sports and outdoor activities.
