Row the distance with Macmillan Jersey for people affected by cancer

Macmillan Cancer Support (Jersey) and RBS International are calling on the people of Jersey to pull together and enter the Macmillan Indoor Rowathon on 7 May 2011. The Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity will host the 30,000 metre race for participants willing to make waves for Macmillan Jersey. Equivalent to rowing from Sark to Jersey, this challenge is set to put people through their paces aiming to raise £20,000 to help people affected by cancer.  People can enter in teams of six for a £300 minimum sponsorship. Macmillan Jersey hopes to race past last year?s fundraising success of £13,665 and double the number of teams who enter from 30 to 60, making this its biggest race yet.
