New head of human resources appointed at HSBC bank international

Mandy Garner has been appointed as the new Head of Human Resources for HSBC Bank International, based in its flagship headquarters in Jersey. Mandy will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, HR practice and development and training across the Bank’s International division, which is represented in Guernsey, Isle of Man, Dubai, Hong Kong, South Africa and London, as well as Jersey. 
With over 20 years’ experience working in Human Resources, Mandy moves to Jersey from the UK where she was a Senior HR Business Partner at Santander. Prior to this she worked in a variety of HR and personnel roles at Abbey’s Treasury Services, Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust, the Horizon NHS Trust and St Albans District Council. Educated in the UK, Mandy holds an MA in Law and Employee Relations and is a Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
In her spare time, Mandy likes all sporting activities particularly running, walking and cycling. She also enjoys reading, socialising and spending time with her family.
