ABN AMRO Bank Appoints New Head of Investment Services  
 
ABN AMRO Bank N.V has appointed Chris Chambers as Head of Investment Services. Chris will be responsible for overseeing Investment Services which covers discretionary and advisory portfolios for local and international high net worth clients.
Chris Chambers offers over 30 years of financial services expertise, working in
stock-broking, then economic strategy and advisory services. He joins ABN
AMRO from SG Hambros, where he was Senior Investment Manager and Head of  the Jersey investment desk. During his 11-year tenure there, he represented the SG Bond Committee, dictating strategy for the entire private banking entity.
Born in Belfast, Chris moved to Jersey as a child. After being schooled here, he
joined stock-broking firm Trevor Matthews and Carey. He returned to Jersey
nineteen years ago in 1992, as a Director of various entities within John Govett
Management Operation in Jersey.
Chris Chambers now lives in St Brelade with his wife, a short distance from the
beach which he says is the perfect place to bring up his children – twins who will
turn six in January. In his spare time Chambers, who is a qualified pilot, enjoys
flying his Piper Arrow Mark 4 aircraft.
