at the Jersey Surf School
This weekend is set aside purely for families to head down to the Jersey Surf School and learn to surf for free. Families are offered a 1 hour surfing lesson which covers all the basics on the beach and then they head into the water to give it a try. There will be accredited surf coaches and beach lifeguards on hand throughout
A BBQ will be available throughout the weekend on the beach courtesy of the Watersplash Beach Bar and Diner.
Bookings only, and available on a first come first served basis.
Availability for approx 80 families throughout the weekend.
Maximum of 4 per family, and only one lesson per family.
Each family is given a discount voucher for equipment hire that can be used anytime during the season.
The event is trying to raise as much money as possible for the ?Jersey Special Gymnastics Club?. The Club helps a lot of disabled youngsters on the Island and is entirely reliant on donations and the help of the families that support it. The club will be down at the Watersplash collecting from families that have enjoyed the free surfing and BBQ and would like to make a donation…however this is entirely voluntary!
