2010 IoD Workshadow winners announced
Three students have been awarded the top prizes at this year’s Jersey Institute of Directors (IoD) Workshadow scheme presentation evening. The scheme is sponsored by Carey Olsen and organised by Careers Jersey.  Joseph Mayes from De La Salle College was announced as the overall winner after he shadowed Jerry Ramsden, the managing director at the Jersey Evening Post. The runner up was Hautlieu student Francesca Guarino who shadowed Dr Susan Turnbull, Deputy Medical Officer of Public Health. The award for best report was presented to Katherine Ferrari-Bradley, a student at the Jersey College for Girls, who shadowed Chris Ambler, the managing director of Jersey Electricity Company. In total, 41 students took part in this year’s scheme.
