Be Inspired

This year JT are focusing on health and wellbeing and starting the year in the right way. So we met up with a few of their partners to see what their top tips are for a healthier more active 2018.

Physique Transformations

Cameron Elliot & Tom Frame

Co Owners

Our top tip for 2018 is to create an environment/support system that allows you to be the best version of yourself. So find a training buddy, join a group training program or find a personal trainer that puts your needs first.

If you feel like you are stuck in a style rut, get inspired in 2018! Look to Instagram and consider saving inspiring outfits into a “Collection” on your account, so you can easily access outfits you want to emulate. Follow

Athena Salon

Stephanie Whitehead

Salon Director

Organisation and preparation. I am a busy mother of three who runs my own salon, and I find the best way to be healthy and stay active in the new year is to prepare yourself well. Prepping my meals and doing a training plan gives me something to work to.

John Marquis

Store Director

We all have choices and having that personal determination to do what you want by having a “Just Do It mentality!” is the best way to get the results you want.

Balance your input (food and drink) with your output (exercise and activity) and you can enjoy a healthy year.

@Smile

Dr. Louise Brownlow

Cosmetic and General Dentist

Brush your teeth and gums for 2 minutes twice a day with an electric toothbrush and try to floss regularly to avoid gum disease and reduce bad breath. Don’t rinse after brushing so that fluoride is left on your teeth which will strengthen your enamel.

Visit the dentist regularly, as we don’t just check the teeth but for lots of other things, such as signs of oral cancer. Don’t ignore problems with your mouth they are unlikely to improve on their own.

The Awakening Club

Laura Rosser

Creator & Founder

My top tip would be to keep you goals realistic. If your New Year’s resolution was to go to the gym four times a week, change your diet and limit your alcohol intake’ all at the same time you may fall at the first hurdle as this might be too much change at one time. I would suggest to focus on one change at a time!

Moo – Mostly Organic Origin

Katy Avocado Pierce

Founder and owner of Moo HQ

Try and eat local and seasonal food and always ask where your food has come from because that is the stuff that really matters. Try to avoid packaged food. When exercising do it because you enjoy it, take up a new hobby, perhaps something that you’ve always fancied doing, this is your year to give it a go! Also exercise your mind, this is just as important; read, listen to podcasts and meditate. Finally go out and dance and laugh so hard! Find the people and things that light you up and surround yourself in the light.
